Cream Tea
Here at St. Johns Thanet Lodge we hold annually a cream tea afternoon and invite the widows of our lodge for an afternoon of enjoyment.
We are extremely fortunate to have our very own pâtissier Bro. Dougie Mcmilan who has certainly mastered the art of creating the most exquisite cakes and pastries.
This event is open to all, the next one will be at the Manston village hall on Sunday 18th August 2019, including food, teas and coffee only £7.50 per head.

Gnome Racing Saturday 11th March
The Gnomes have arrived in Thanet and are now acclimatising to the local climate
in preparation for the famous race night on Saturday 11th of March.
Three of the Gnomes have heard about The Conqueror Tuesday evenings in Grange Road, Ramsgate
and sneaked into the pub rather than go to the gym.

Many thanks to all those who attended what was a great evening last nights Gnome Racing evening at St. Johns.
Over £360 raised for charity with around 60 attending.
Many thanks to the following for all their hard work - Ben Katumba , Chloe, Peter & Wendy Smith, Tara Smith, Logan Smith, Dougie McMillan, John Lycett (Mr Gnome) Shelley Lycett (Mrs Gnome), Tim Gifford (Mr Barman) and last but not least my sister Rosemary xxx.
And of course not forgetting the gnomes themselves.

The hours of study to deliver such a perfect lecture must have take a considerable amount of time, i.e. years one would imagine.
